Helloo! This is the 5th poem of the week 😎 and the prompt for today is…popsicle!
Read the other poems here:
A young child licks her popsicle, A delicious, "Grape Tropical". Slowly, the popsicle shrinks, And she thinks, "I really want another," She moves towards the ice-cream seller, And bought one. When she bought it she walked and saw a beggar. A thin beggar he was, And when he saw her popsicle, he sobbed. She felt terrible for the beggar, she felt sadder than ever. The girl, being a properly brought up one, she did something none would have done. She bought him another, and his face filled with colour. He thanked her for her kindness, and she walked away with happiness.
OMG giiiirl this is amazing. Keep writing.
